Some notable history facts about Troop 2.

Chartered in October, 1917 by President Theodore Roosevelt (served as president from 1901-1909.  Woodrow Wilson was the current president) with 9 scouts at First Presbyterian Church, Colorado Springs, Colorado—sixteen months after the Boy Scouts of America was first chartered by the United States Congress, June 15, 1916.  Troop 2 is the oldest mission of the church.

1971-1978
Scoutmaster earned Silver Beaver award in 1970, and the William H. Spurgeon Award in 1974, Pikes Peak Council
50 miler to Region 7 Canoe Base in Minnesota (1971)
